Activity we never record
VPN Club servers do not log which websites or apps you use, and they do not store what you send or receive. DNS lookups handled by our servers are not kept either.
We also skip the IP address you connect from and the times you connect and disconnect. With none of this on file, a session on our network cannot be traced back to a person.
- Websites and apps you use
- Traffic content
- DNS queries
- Your original IP address
- Connection and disconnection times
Account data we keep
To run your account we store your ID and a hash of your password. A hash is a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the password, so the password itself is never saved. We also keep payment records and your plan's start and end dates.
Plans have a device limit, so each live connection gets a temporary marker that is deleted when you disconnect. It holds no IP and no activity. If you buy proxies, we also keep the proxy username and password and the allowed IPs you add, because the proxy gateway needs them to let you in.
No email, no name
You sign up with an ID and a password. We do not ask for an email address, a name or a phone number, and VPN Club never sends you email because there is no address to send it to.
This also means a forgotten password cannot be reset by email, so keep it in a password manager. Payments come from a prepaid balance topped up with cryptocurrency through PayGate, and no card or PayPal details exist on our side.
Limits of any VPN
A VPN keeps your traffic away from the network owner and your internet provider. It does not hide who you are from a service you log in to. Once you sign in, that service knows it is your account.
Cookies and tracking scripts keep working inside the tunnel too. The ad and tracker filter on Plus and Pro cuts down on some of this, and your browser privacy settings still help.
